• 4-5 sprigs of curry leaves
• 1-2 bird's eye chilies, sliced (optional)

Instructions

Here's how to make Ayam Butter:

1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent.
3. Add the minced garlic and ginger paste, and sauté for another minute or until fragrant.
4. Add the tomato paste and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
6. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
7. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until well combined. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
8. Add the curry leaves and sliced bird's eye chilies (if using). Mix well.
9. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
